As renovations began on one of the oldest storage buildings on Buffalo Trace Distillery’s campus, a discovery was made; remnants of one of Colonel E.H. Taylor’s first distilleries, complete with 11,000 gallon fermenting tanks.
Construction halted and preservation began, a true testament to Buffalo Trace’s commitment to historic preservation. There was a big story to tell and we helped to tell it through interpretative boards and videos, one on the history of the site, vividly told with animations of original historic lithographs and one explaining Buffalo Trace’s commitment to historic preservation.
